DateTime & GUID Attribute Add Feature problem

I am successfully creating new features through DisplayCaptureGeometry, adding some attributes and running it through an Add Feature workflow task.

However, when trying to update a Date or GUID field, the Add Feature returns no results - namely the insert has failed.

I am assigning the Date and Guid fields with DateTime.Now() and Guid.NewGUID() respectively.  Can someone give some guidance or examples as to how they update their fields for new features for DateTime and GUID types?

  I would suggest that you are getting the serialization error discussed.
