Feature Long Description Link Opens in Chrome & Firefox, but not Internet Explorer
I'm using Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421
When I try to go to a link in my map tips, it only works when I use Chrome or Firefox. The link is not being acknowldeged in Internet Explorer.
Has anyone else run into this?

Hi Ross,
Did you ever find a solution? I am currently working with a customer who is reporting having this IE9 issue. We have not been able to replicate this issue in any other browser except IE9 so far. If I find a solution or more info, I'll be sure to make it back to this post and update you.
Cheers,

Hey, Kevin-
Unfortunately, no, and as of this morning, the links continue to not-exist in IE9.
Here is my site if it helps anyone reading this thread understand the issue (http://www.mariettaga.gov/ExternalViewer/?Viewer=Downtown%20Parking%20Viewer) . If you hover over any of the parking lot points, the map tip will have a hyperlink for Photo, which I have setup for most of the points as a Google Streetview Link.
If you happen to find a solution, Kevin, please feel free to re-contact me; and I'll do the same.
Thanks,
Ross

I'm having the same problem in IE10 with the Feature Details/Long Description. It shows as blue and underlined, but not a clickable link. I also have it displayed in the results list, where it is clickable and works fine. I've tried turning the pop-up blocker and "smart screen" off, turning compatibility view on and off, but nothing helps.

If you do a global search on "Bear Creek Trail" and try to access the Trail Profile from the feature details window, that is when I see the behavior.

Hi Heather,
I've been able to launch the Trails details form both the link in the results list as well as the feature details dialog with IE 10. here is where a Fiddler trace on your affected machine may provide some insight to what's going wrong. See https://support.geocortex.com/use-fiddler-to-capture-web-traffic-between-a-web-browser-and-a-web-site

Hi Ross,
I've checked with IE10 and your site works as expected. On a VM using stock IE9, clicking on the parking lot on Hansell St and Waddell St (OBJECTID=2) I get a security alert dialog (You are about to view pages over a secure connection. Any information you exchange with this site cannot be viewed by anyone else on the web.) followed by Google maps appearing. Since I don't have Adobe Flash on this test VM, I get a warning that streeview can't be loaded.
Fiddler on your system might reveal something to follow.
regards,
Edmond

Thank you for your response, Edmond.
Unfortunately, there is no trace to look at because there is no request sent on failure. You just hover over or click on Trail Profile and nothing happens. I just got it to work on one machine and fail on another that have the same version of IE, same OS, same settings, so I'm not sure what to do about it.
