Upgrade to 3.14/1.9.1 gone wrong

Hi,

I hope someone has an answer to this one.  We have just upgraded from 3.12/1.8 to 3.14/1.9.1 and now I am unable to get the site working.  Reporting something like this on the browser, this was extracted from the log file.

• Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
• Unable to load workflow.
• Failed to create a 'Settings' from the text 'Assembly references and imported namespaces serialized as XML namespaces'.
• The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

Then I went to Workflow Designer and I got a very similar error and does not work.

Any clues? anyone? please!!!

  Hi Robert

  From your decription it sounds like something is wrong with one of your workflows.

  Have you installed the hotfixes to 3.14 as well? If so then carry on reading.

  Firstly I would check that you can create a new very basic site and add a SL viewer with no customisation. Does that load OK? ie is your overall install of Geocortex OK?

  If it is then there is something about your existing site that has an issue.

  For the next step I would be tempted to removed the workflows from the site.xml. Back up the site directory before you start of course . This assumes that there is not a workflow that you are trying to run on viewer startup. If there is then I would suggest removing that from the viewer .xml using the Geocortex REST Manager.

  Does the viewer load any better in your browser now?
