Report Designer * * *
Hi,
Didn't know where else to post this, so I'm putting it here in GDA.
We have a problem with the Geocortex Report Designer.
We have a few print templates that bind the visible layers to a legend. The legend consists of rows that are filtered in the script, that have the property to split into columns set.
The legend.rpx is then used as a component in our print template.
This being said, here's the problem:
/customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000e88UiEAI
The legend rows overflow the bounds of the document. The legend control is placed so that its bottom edge is within the black borders, but it doesn't seem to correctly confine the legend.
I have tried turning the 'CanGrow' and 'CanShrink' properties on and off, but all to no avail.
There doesn't seem to be any kind of pattern in this, because some columns are split of correctly at the bottom edge, while others aren't.
I assumed at first that it just didn't want to split up parts of the legend that 'belong' together. This doesn't seem to be always the case, and turning the KeepTogether property to false also didn't solve anything.
/customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000e88UnEAI
Here the columns are split off correctly, a bit to close to the edge though. Which isn't consistent with the bounds of the control in the print template. I have noticed this kind of random offset in other controls too.
I want to add that when I turn the 'CanGrow' property to false, the overlap still remains, but is hidden underneath the edge. In other words: the part of the legend that used to overlap, now falls off.
The settings of the Legend row:
/customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000em1bgEAA
The settings of the imported control in the print template:
/customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000e88NnEAI
I feel like I have tried any combination of properties possible, and I am left with the hunch that this might be a bug...
