Use stand alone Image Server Image Service in Essentials - REST site

Greetings,

Found references to manually adding an Image Service to the Web ADF. Looking at the instructions, it appears that specific coding can't be used in REST services. (And AGS V10.1 no longer allows publishing of a service within services...)

Is there a way to accomplish that with GE REST services? (Or am I forced to convert my numerous Image Server services to mosaic datasets in AGS V10.1?)

  Hi Todd,

  You should be able to add an ImageServer service to your site just like an ordinary MapServer service.

  One layer will be available from the service.

  Cached ImageServer services require Essentials 3.14 to function properly in the viewer (they'll be treated as dynamic in earlier versions).
