Run Advanced Query Builder from workflow

Is it possible to run the Advanced Query Builder from a workflow? It would be nice if I could pass the layer to use as an input argument.

(I know I can show the Query Builder with the ActivateView command with parameter "QueryBuilderView".)

  Correction/addition on my own question: same question, but for the Advanced Filter function.

  There is a ShowFilterBuilderView command, does someone have a working example of it? I get a serialization error when trying to pass a layer as input argument.

  Did you figure out how to pass/fill in your query?  I am trying to do this as well but from html bridge.
