Layer Permissions with Domain Local Groups

When setting permissions on a layer, I am able to use Active Directory groups that are configured as “Global” or “Universal”, but not “Domain Local”. Domain local groups are required when embedding users and groups from trusted forests. How can I use domain local groups when setting permissions?

  I dont' think Geocortex Manager recognizes Local Domain Groups.  You can however add the local groups you create to the site.xml file.

  Thank you for the reply Bill.  When you state that you can use local groups, are you suggesting embedding groups from a trusted forest inside of local groups?  Do you have an example of a modified site.xml file?
