Display Form's Check Box trigger an event

We have a Display Form in a workflow which has a check box for making a layer visible in the map or for downloading it.  Currently the only way a Display Form activity can do something is when the user clicks one of the buttons at the bottom of the form.  It would be a useful enhancement if the form could respond to other events, such as the user clicking in the check box.
