Heads Up Orientation option vs North Up Orientation option

It would be beneficial to non-gis users of the map viewers to be able to change the map orientation from the gis user preffered setting of North Up, to the general user's preference of Heads Up map orientation.  This would only need to be an option for tablets and handhelds. The reason I ask for this option is because we have found that community members have a very difficult time trying to orient themselves on a north up map when they are out on the streets.  We want our community to use our maps on their mobile devices, but not having this option available is deterring our users.
