How to add custom tabs to descriptions pane?

By default there is a descriptions tabs (equivalent to the details tab in Silverlight?) and a Details tab (equivalent to the attributes tab in Silverlight?), as well as a h yperlink tab if used and presumably datalinks tabs etc.

Is it possible to add a custom tab if want to show images for examples embedded from a url?
