Form designer hide and show inputs and elements

I know that you can use the Runtime Mmodifications of the Form Designer to hide or show elements based on some conditions when the workflow/form initializes.

But can this be done while the user is interacting with the form?

Example: Cascading combo boxes with only the first shown at the start of the workflow.  Based on the selection in the dropdown, the second may or may not need to appear for user interaction.

Can this be done?

  No. The only option is to close and redisplay the form.
