Ability to connect to ArcGIS Online content on a case by case basis
Unless I am wrong, it looks like you can only connect to private ArcGIS Online content if change the sign in method to use AGOL.
I would like to be able to connect to AGOL on a case by case basis, and add a layer/web map as needed. The credentials should be optionally stored so that the user does not need to login to AGOL to view the layer if desired.
Reason:
We have a number of layers in AGOL that would be useful to add to GeoCortex and that we can't make public, but most of the GeoCortex users are not in AGOL. Therefore they cannot sign-in to access the data.
Also, we are testing with an internal Portal instance, and it would be nice to be able to access that without having to install another instance of GeoCrotex.

Ditto for Portal for ArcGIS. For housekeeping reasons, it would be great if we could keep content to be consumed by sites private Portal content or be able to set up a geocortex "user". That way, Portal users will not have access to or have to wade through map services that are only specific to geocortex sites. 0
