Duplicate Identify Results from Feature Layer

I'm sure there is a simple fix to this, but I seem to have hit a road block and haven't been able to resolve on my own.

 

I have added a feature layer to my map and am running into an issue with duplicate results in the identify window.  I have a feeling that it has something to do with it identifying both the feature layer and the feature service component.  Has anyone had a similar issue and been able to resolve?  

 

I have tried turning off identify on just the feature layer or just the feature service but they mimic each other, in terms of functionality.

  You should definitely be able to control identify settings for each individual map layer.

   

  Have you tried change the feature label or feature description for you main layer so you can see if the identify results look different than each other?
