HTML5 Filter Needs the Additional Conditions (OR, NOT, etc.) Added

If you try filtering more than one item in the Filter tool by clicking Add Another Condition, it will not allow you to change the AND condition that it defaults to.  You cannot change it to OR or NOT or any others.  Is this on the HTML5 enhancements list?

  Yes, it is on the development list and it is being tracked as GVH-3820.

  I'm glad to know this, Wayne. I just encountered this problem today while trying to demonstrate to a colleague how to highlight subject parcels, given he's accustomed to the selection capabilities of the SLV. There is an air photo overlay parcel layer that draws in yellow, on which I tried to show how to set a filter on the ARN value. It would make a nice "highlight" effect. But with only "AND" to connect conditions, a filter cannot serve the purpose of showing two or more specific parcels. I will be glad to see this corrected.

  Hi Bruno,

   

  This is being targeted for version 2.8 of the HTML5 viewer and it will be implemented as GVH-11381 not GVH-3820 as I mentioned previously.  The expected release date for version 2.8 is around the end of the year.

  To elaborate on what Wayne's provided:

   

  We've taken the Silverlight viewer's advanced filter builder (GVH-3820) and advanced query builder (GVH-3822) features and broken them into smaller, more function-specific features. The ability to use and combine different query operators (GVH-11381) is one of these smaller components. As Drew announced during last Friday's (https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCVideo?sub-nav=videos&main-nav=essentials&feedtype=SINGLE_ARTICLE_DETAIL&dc=Geocortex_Essentials_vid&criteria=BESTANSWERS&id=kA560000000Kz7c) Road Ahead , this is something we're working on for Gecortex Viewer for HTML5 2.8.
