Why does Geocortex Essentials Manager run slow?

    We have been experiencing the  same issues (same version).  Can take up to 5 minutes to open Manager and another couple of minutes to open a site.

     

    Sometimes rerunning the Post Installer can improve things slightly, but I don't we should have to do this on a regular basis to improve load times of the Manager.

     

    I would also like to hear if anyone has a better solution.

    Can you check the TaskManager on the server when this is ocurring to see if the CPU/mermory of the server is getting close to the maximum?  Also, when this happens, what is the URL that is showing in the address bar of your browser.

    Thank you both for your responses. When I open Essentials Manager and navigate through different sites, the CPU usage never gets above 40%. I work directly off our ArcGIS server which has plenty of horsepower. Also when opening a site, the address in the brower contains the address of the server along with the following information for the site- "/Geocortex/Essentials/RestManager/Map/". One thing I did notice is the C:Drive on the server where all of the installations are is has only 273MB of space available.

    Scott,

     

    I would clean up some space on the harddrive, as you probably know, when the system runs low on RAM it looks to the harddrive to store temporary files.  I would also recommend not running off the server.  

     

    If you still have problems with responsivness I would recommend entering a support ticket so that we can look into it further.

    I will certainly get in there and make sme room. As far as working off the server, I have been doing that because it works faster than it does on my machine. I'll see what it does after the cleanup and go from there. Thank you for your help Wayne.
