Session Timeout - Not Resetting

When the session timeout dialog box appears and I click "I'm Back" and continue working in my session it still expires five minutes after the original timeout dialog box appeared making me lose any changes not applied.

 

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, have you found a solution?
