Draw a polygon automatically around points,

I am looking for a way to draw a polygon automatically around points that have similar value in one field of the attribute table.

I have a workflow that read from attribute table, after selected the feature with the same field value, I want it to draw a polygon automatically around these values.

Hey

This sounds like that you need generate voronoi diagram for each point. Result geometry can be attributed using points attributes and then join polygons with same properties.

Your request is outside of Geocortex Essentials. What you are after is GIS data processing. This is role can be done for example in ArcMap 10.X with extension Geostatistical Analyst or ToolBox and after than you can setup a mapservice and bring it to the site.

Hi Majdoleen,

We do not have an activity in Workflow Designer that will draw a polygon around points, but you can always create a geoprocessing service on the Arc side that will generate the polygons from a set of points and then simply reference that service in a workflow using the "Geoprocessor" activity.
