There was an error in geolocation: Geolocation has timed out.

Hello,

Although I did update the Geometry service in the json file. When I click on "Find Me" button in the HTML5 Viewer, I am getting the following error :

"There was an error in geolocation: Geolocation has timed out."

Please provide your inputs on it as how I can fix this issue.

I recently changed all my sites to https, and was finally able to use geolocation on all our mobile devices. This error has also started happening for us!

I also have users asking about this error. Seems to be prevalent on Safari more than anything.

Further to this, is anyone then getting the error message:

"A problem repeatedly occured on .... " where the our URL address is then listed...

I've googled this and found little information on the Apple forums, and I'm not even sure if this is a by-product of the original issue mentioned.

Anyone else getting either of both of these issues?

We had the same issue with iOS devices. The fix in this thread worked, although the timeout doesn't need to be so long:
