Export a Map Image - Why can't you save it as an image file?
I am using HTML5 but haven't upgraded to the version released last week.
When I use the button to Export a Map Image (and in this instance a map image with no mark-ups), I select JPEG, etc., and View Image, everything looks fine. At this point when I was in Silverlight, I could do a "Save As" and have a JPEG file that I was able to email, insert into a powerpoint, etc.
Now it is saving it as a Web file, or txt file. Neither of which is useful for what I need to do. Is this issue resolved in the new HTML5 version, and if not, is there a workaround? Currently I use my Snipping Tool to cut and save the image as a JPG.
Thank you.

Depends on the browser when you use File>Save As from the browser's menu bar. IE will try and save it as a webpage, because it thinks that is what you are trying to save. Firefox and Chrome will use the correct format (JPEG, PNG, etc.). Right-clicking on the actual image produced and doing a save as should default to the correct format in all browsers, though. 0
