Identify Results keeps going and going

In 2.6 on my public site, I've noticed that upon doing an Identify, the animated graphic to the left of "Identify Results" never goes away after the list finishes populating. On my internal site, however, it does go away. Does anyone, please, have a suggestion on what to look into to correct my public site?
