HTML5 Coded Domains - Enhanced Proxy @2.6
We notice that our coded domains are not displaying the description in our map tips. I read that enabling the Geocortex Services Enhancement Proxy and resolving the coded domains was the answer for this. So I went to enable it and I receive a message that states:
The Geocortex Services Enhancement Proxy is a legacy component that should only be enabled for applications that use the Geocortex Viewer for Silverlight or the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 versions 2.5.2 and older.
We are running 2.6 and would like our domains resolved. Is this supposed to be integrated in the latest viewer? Because we aren't seeing this reflected in the maptips for one of our HTML5 viewers for a layer with coded domains.

Hi Erik,
Newer versions of the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 are designed to work without the need for an enhancement proxy to resolve coded domains. Unfortunately, there is a bug that specifically affects 2.6.0 (GVH-6955) which is preventing coded domains from resolving properly in some cases, particularly in map tips. This bug is fixed in 2.6.1, which is due to be released very shorty. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks Eric! 0 -
It would be great if this bug was added to the HTML5 Viewer 2.6 Known Issues (https://support.geocortex.com/EssentialsGSCkba?id=kA3600000008QVx) article. 0 -
We have confirmed that this is indeed fixed in the 2.6.1 release. Thank you LG! 0 -
Erik Engstrom,
I am working with 2.6.1 and unfortunately I am still getting the same "unresolved coded values" ( imean codes instead of descriptions). Are you using any special kind of query or activity other than normal ones to resolve?0 -
Hi Eric,
I am working with 2.6.1 as well and got a same problem - unresovled code domain when I identify the feature. Please advice! Thanks.0 -
We're on GVH 2.7.2 and GE 4.6.3 and none of our domain values are displaying. Is there something you need to enable for this? 0
