Dynamically indicate workflow results within the current map view extents

Hello, we are writing a workflow which effectively returns a series of results within a buffer. In the results pane we'd like to visually distinguish those results which are not visible within the current map view extents. We'd ideally like this to then be dynamic, so that when the user zooms in or out the results wouldn't change but the visual indication of which results are now visible within the extents would update.

 

Has anyone done something similar to this - or can offer any advice on how/whether this could be acheived?
