Support for TMS layers

Hello all,

 

Is it too much to ask Geocortex to include support of TMS layers?

 

I know it is not complicated. In fact, I did it myself for a customer where we heavily modified the HTML viewer (outside Essentials's interface). It is only a matter of subclassing the TiledMapServiceLayer class and overwrite the getTileUrl fonction to invert the Y value because for TMS 0,0 is at the bottom left and OpenStreetMap 0,0 is at the top left.

 

I am stuck now because I am now comissioned to used only 100% of out-of-the-box functione. Hence, no modifications can be made to the viewer. So I am stuck, and cannot reach TMS layers.

 

I believe this would be a simple modification to the viewer and Essentials to support, and it would allow many to take advantage of freely available tile layers, and also allow more data sources to be used inside the viewer.

 

Please, pretty please, with a cherry on top and ice cream in the middle !!!

But now, the application I am building must rely 100% on out-of-the-box components, meaning it must be driven entierly on Essentials to manage it.
