HTML5 Viewer error after upgrading to 2.6.1
Hello there,
I upgraded HTML5 viewer to 2.6.1 on Essentials 4.5.1 and after that all applications stopped working, producing the following ASP.NET error. Unfortunately, there's no way to downgrade application back to lower version of viewer, at least I don't know of any. Any idea what the error is about and how to resolve it? Thanks much!
Server Error in '/Geocortex/Essentials/REST' Application.
The following errors occurred while attempting to load the app.
- No assembly found containing an OwinStartupAttribute.
- No assembly found containing a Startup or [AssemblyName].Startup class.
To disable OWIN startup discovery, add the appSetting owin:AutomaticAppStartup with a value of "false" in your web.config.
To specify the OWIN startup Assembly, Class, or Method, add the appSetting owin:AppStartup with the fully qualified startup class or configuration method name in your web.config.

Hi Steve,
I'm not too sure why you're seeing these errors, I havn't run into this yet. I would suggest you open a support case with us if you havn't already, so we can help you investigate.
Thanks!

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for the reply. I'll consider opening a support case after I try upgrading Essentials/HTML5 viewer again.
At this point I had to remove Viewer and Essentials, install older versions and restore sites back.
Not sure if server being in DMZ had anything to do with the upgrade.
I've upgraded both Essentials and HTML5 Viewer on DEV server, which is inside of company network and there were no issues.
Thanks.
