Instant Search Index - Schedule

Has anyone successfully changed the instant search index schedule? I found the correct file thanks to another thread (C:\ProgramFiles\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\NSRoot\Geocortex\Core\Roles\InstantSearch\ScannerManger\2.4.1\role.config) but would like to hear about any experiences folks have had with successfully implementing this. I'm hoping to change it to a daily scan so our editors aren't dealing with discrepancies between instant search and identify results that take several days to correct. They like the search hints too much for me to change it to use just the global search.

  For anyone else who's wondering about this, I got a reply from Latitude and this has been identified as a bug:

   

  Currently, the Instant Search Scanner Scheduling is not working correctly. This is a known bug and is marked as fixed for the 3.0 release of Geocortex Core which I believe is slated for release with Essentials 4.6. I don't have an ETA for this release. Unfortunately, there are no workarounds other than manually re-scanning your service.
