    For anyone else who's wondering about this, I got a reply from Latitude and this has been identified as a bug:

     

    Currently, the Instant Search Scanner Scheduling is not working correctly. This is a known bug and is marked as fixed for the 3.0 release of Geocortex Core which I believe is slated for release with Essentials 4.6. I don't have an ETA for this release. Unfortunately, there are no workarounds other than manually re-scanning your service.
