Bring back exact results from Global Search

HI folks!

 

Does anyone know of some code  that can be used to get an EXACT match from the Global Search? We have an application that requires a search on an intiger field. The Global Search works on that field but if a number used in a search exisit in a sequence more than once it will bring back all the results. EG: if I am searching for "29810" it will bring back other numbers like "298109", or " 229810" etc... I ONLY need the exact match result to be returned.

  Hi Larisa,

   

  This is a current Improvement Request.  FYI, our internal tracking ID for the request is GVH-9341.  There is currently no commitment to add it to an upcoming release.  I would speak to your Account Manager to see if they can escalate it if it is a priority for you.
