Layer Themes disable report access
A user today reported to me that when he has a Layer Theme active, the Run a Report action of the Panel Actions Menu is missing. But by changing back to the All Available Layers theme, the Run a Report choice returns. I have found this problem occurs for me too.
We can get around this by sticking to All Available Layers and turning on and off the layers similar to how the Layer Theme is defined before accessing the Panel Actions Menu. But with this being the case, Layer Themes lose too much benefit.
Is there a setting I can enable for a report to cooperate with a Layer Theme? Or is this report disablement by design?

This is working fine in my site - both with or without layer themes the "Run a Report" option is available in the Panel Actions Menu on the Results pane... I'm using the current versions - 4.5.1/2.6.1 0 -

After a couple of good weeks, I've run into this problem again. It came up today after adding a user-specific RunExternalCommand task with SwitchToLayerTheme in my startup workflow. I was happy to see the layer theme successfully changed for that user as it should, but later the user pointed out that Run a Report is once again gone from the actions menu.
By commenting out this change, Run a Report returns, and remains present regardless of changing layer themes. So this appears as evidence of a bug that remains since the last GE update. Has anyone else noticed this problem?0 -
I've just noticed that even after commenting out as described above, the Run a Report is sometimes not available when it should be. I've learned from a user this has been true since my June 2 post. I've found as a workaround, the user can change to the All Available Layers theme and be able to see Run a Report again, and can then change to another theme and still see Run a Report. But this is not ideal... 0
