Trouble with windows authentication on 4.4.3

We are using 4.4.3 and 2.6 viewer. We cannot get windows authentication to behave despite setting everything exactly as outlined here in the community and in the help docs.

 

1. IIS Windows Authentication is set n the Essentials REST application

 

2. Both "Anonymous Access" and "Windows Integrated" are checked in the Manager security providers

 

3. Both "Enforce SSL" and "Allow All Local Redirects" are checked in the security settings

 

4. We set the site permissions at the site level to allow an AD group and set Guest to deny

 

Browsing to the site redirects like it's supposed to but when the application tries to render, non of the content displays...only a blank viewer

 

What could we be doing incorrectly?

  I think I just figured this out for myself. Turns out that we had "Enforce SSL" checked on in the Security Settings. I turned that off and the application displays correctly. I can see my user name displayed in the sign out drop down. I tested with someone who does not have permission and they see just the empty shell of the app.
