Add/Remove map service from Toc

Hi,

 

We are using two different map services in an application.

 

I wanted to know, Is it possible to create a workflow - when clicked on the workflow, one of the map service must be invisible in TOC (dataframe), and when clicked on another workflow - the map service must reappear in TOC(dataframe).

 

If you so, could you please provide me as what activity should I use?

  I think the simplest way to do this would be to set up layer themes and activate them. You'd have one layer theme with map service included and one with it excluded. You can then use the SwitchToLayerTheme command to set the layer theme ID.

   

  Depending on where you want the user to be able to use this, you might not even need a workflow. For example, you can run a command with a parameter as an I Want To menu item or a Toolbar button.
