Can you create a workflow to search on 2 separate layers (both with the same field name)?

I want to create a workflow that will search on 2 seperate layers from the same mapservice.

 

So, my MapServiceID is 103 and I have two LayerName in there CAMS_poly and CAMS_point and I would like to search a landholder field in both of them at the same time. I don't want to use Global Search, i want a more specific search.

 

Is this possible? Any help would be very much appreciated.

  1. Create a Workflow with an input argument for the landholder variable.
  2. Place 2 QueryTasks in your workflow and configure appropriately
  3. Place 2 SelectFeatures in your workflow and configure appropriately,

  You can choose to do this sequentially or in parallel. I don't have a specific example but I do have a Workflow with all the components. You will just need to branch it.
