    Hi Rebecca

I assume that you are using the FeatureSetToData activity and then feeding the result to DataTableToXls.

I have just tried that and do not get the geometry field.

Just realised that you may just be doing this from the client interface. Is that the case?

    Regards

I hadn't tried a workflow yet. I was just using the out of the box export to xlsx. I was hoping maybe there was a setting to allow control of the output fields.

I just tried a basic workflow but the DataTableToXlsx activity doesn't seem to do anything. I expected the Excel sheet to open automatically or be prompted to download a file. Have you used that activity successfully before? Am I expecting the correct behaviour?

Rebecca, here is an example of using the export workflow:

I have it set up to export to CSV in the workflow, but there is export to xls and xlsx set up in the example as well.

    Hello Everyone,

this topic is very actual also for us. A customer is reporting that geometry fields are exported with client standard CSV/Excel export tools and they want to hide them. Is there any possibility to configure this?

    Thank You

Has anyone figured out how to remove certain fields from the out of the box 'Export to CSV/Excel' tool in the web viewer?

Anyone been able to hide this field from the standard "export to excel/csv" option i the results table/list?

    Thanks!

This topic is still relevant. There are no parameters that allow you to hide the 'geometry' and 'objectid' column from the results.convert-to-xlsx operation.

    https://developers.vertigisstudio.com/docs/web/api-commands-operations-events/#definition-ToXLSXConversionArgs

    Kind regards, Daan
