Is it comming in next version ?! 0 -
Hello Peter,
I had a look at the open improvement for this (GVH-3822), but it looks like it will not be in the next version (GVH 2.7). It will be evaluated for GVH 2.8, but we cannot guarantee that it will be included in that release.
I'll add you as a stakeholder on this issue. I also encourage you to submit this in the Ideas section, so that other users can vote on it, and it will gain further visibility.
Thanks!

Hi, I was also looking for a way to have the advanced filter/query builder. I thuoght 2.7 was supposed to bring feature parity with Silverlight. This can't be the case without the advanced filter/query builders though. There are many things you can't do with the simple filter/query tools in the current HTML5 viewer. I'd like to be added as stakeholder too thanks. 0 -
We keep being told that the HTML viewer has reached parity with the Silverlight viewer, yet fundamental functionality like this isn't even on the road map...
Add me as a stakeholder please.0 -
How long would it take to give us Advance query ability on HTML5 viewer? We are on GE v4.6 and HTML5 v2.8. Business is not happy with HTML5 viewer. 0 -
Hi Naresh -
We added an advanced Query Builder (and Filter Builder) feature in GVH version 2.8. If you are using GVH 2.8, we recommend that you use it with GE version 4.7. Are you able to upgrade to GE 4.7?

Steve: We are now on GVH v2.8.1 and GE c4.7.0. I still dont see Advance query tool in the toolset. I would want to be able to build a query (eg: pipesegment in (seg1, seg2, seg3, ...., seg150). Could you throw some light, please? 0 -
Hi Naresh -
The "advanced" query capability has been included in the existing Query Builder user interface. If you add the Query tool to the toolbar (via Manager), you will now be able to build more complicated queries. You can now combine conjuctions ("AND" clauses) and disjunctions ("OR" clauses) in any combination using nesting. All of this is provided automatically by the new UI.

What about the ability to perform various other query methods such as "Select from current selection", "Add to current selection", and "Remove from current selection"? These are fundamental querying procedures and should be included with the tool. Any plans on adding these? 0
