Scale on screen vs printout

I have followed the article (https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCkba?sub-nav=kba&main-nav=essentials&#!/feedtype=SINGLE_ARTICLE_DETAIL&criteria=BESTANSWERS&id=kA360000000Cia7CAC)  to fix the scale in the print templates. When user print a map at "Current Scale", the scale on screen does not match the scale on a printout. For example if the scale on screen is 1:577,791, then the scale on a printout is 1:394,052. Which is the scale on screen multiplied by the distance correction factor (0.68199836006 in my area). Is there a way to make these two numbers match?

  Contacted the tech support, and was told this is a known limitation. It is very confusing to our users, so we just need to educate our users.
