Cannot export drawings in saved project

If I save a project with drawings in it, when I open that project, the export drawings button is greyed out. When I draw additional features the export drawings button becomes enabled, but I cannot export (just get endless processing graphic).  If I then delete the additional features, it seems I can then export my original drawings.  While there is a work around, it appears this is a bug.Anyone else find this?

  I came across this exact same thing (3 years later it seems). 

   

  I tried a similair workaround as above but just edited the vertex of a polygon and then the Export Drawings tool re-activated allowing me to export. 

   

  If I added a new featue then deleted (as described above) all of my drawings were deleted. 

   

  note: (still) using GE 4.6.3.2.4 HTML5 viewer
