Extending Geocortex Essentials Manager

Is it possible to develop extensions to the Geocortex Essentials Manager for example to provide some ui for the the management of custom site extensions rather than having to directly edit the site.xml?

  We've been working on something similar to ease deployment of extensions to our clients, so the answer would be yes, but it is not an easy path. We are easily a month into integrating this interface and probably another month until it is ready for testing.

  Hello,

   

  Regarding the extention of Geocortex Manager. I want to know if there is any way to add a button, or hyperkinkbutton in the edit layer properties section of geocortex manager. I want to add a button there that links to a new url. Is this any way possible to do it ?

  Hi Alfredo,

   

  While it is technically possible to modify the .net portions that make up Essentials Manager, this is not something that we support.  That being said, if this is something you'd like to see done anyway, I'd encourage you to open a support case, so we can put you in touch with our professional services team, who would be in a better position to help with this!
