Zoom to Location Browser Cache Issues
We have been experiencing an issue where users will run a workflow that is suppose zoom to a specific location, but instead zooms to the center of the map. This issue does not happen all the time, and we have found if the user clears the browser cache, the workflow runs appropriatly. The problem eventually occurs after some time, and the user has to clear the browser cache. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and is there a way to avoid this?

We just started to experience this same issue today. Not sure what's happening. After the first time the workflow runs correctly, it then zoomx to a random spot (the same spot always) on the map everytime after. 0 -

What is the order of operation for your workflow? I found a work around for this issue by using the "BufferTask" and then the "ZoomToExtent" command. After applying that process to my workflows I have not seen this issue again.

Hi Laura,
Sorry for the delayed response. I was looking through archived workflows and found that we transitioned from using the "SetMapExtent" tool the "ZoomToExtent" tool in the external commands. We have not exeperienced any issues since changing our workflows. I'm not sure why it works, but it might be a good to try. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!0
