Geocortex manager fails to start and says “runtime error”,

 

 

 

I couldn’t figure out why Geocortex manager fails to start and says “runtime error”. I attempted to start the post installation and fails to start too knowing that the geocortex application (sites) is working fine

 

 

 

What might be the issue here?

  Hi Jamal,

  The Post Installer may not be loading due to an issue with Geocortex Core. You may need to first restart Geocortex Core from the panel loaded by running 'services.msc'. This will likely fix the issue and allow you to complete the Post Installer, which will then allow you to load Manager.

  Hi Jamal,

   

  It sounds like Core may not be running.  You can look in the application event viewer for clues about the runtime error.  

   

  What version of Essentials are you running?

  I have just restarted the production server and right now Geocortex manager works fine
