Use tool geometry as input to workflow
Hi, I'm trying to get a tool on my toolbar (eg draw a circle) to activate a custom workflow using the drawn geometry.
I have the workflow running fine with a button; with capture geometry in the workflow. But this is clunky and doesn't have a select by circle option like the tool does. How do I pass the geometry from a tool into a workflow?
I was also trying to access the geometry drawn by the identify tool using "listen for external events" with ""GraphicDrawCompletedEvent" but wasn't able to work out how to access the actual geometry from that either. This would be an even better solution if someone can advise how to access that?
Thank you!

If you're still interested, I can help: michael.disstorrance@wisconsin.gov
I've built a few simple JavaScript libraries that act as a go-between running tools that allow the user the click on the map (like identify), then invoke a workflow with the passed in Geometry (point). One can also apply this same technique when a user selects a feature from the identify results (context menus)0
