Charting: Common series range ; is there an opt out?
I'm creating a chart with multiple series.
I have 3+ series, that i require to use the same range. So the common series range works as desired.
My last series that is kind of like events at specific times.
While the other series are lines, and continuously plotted over time, the last one is set as a bar graph, and it isn't numeric, i have it set to the description field so that the tooltip describes what the event was.
This all works except that the 'bar' graph is tiny, it equates to 1 always, so if the common range is huge, it shrinks to invisible.
So the question is, Is there anyway to use 'common series range' and still have a series opt out? would be awesome if i could make it a standard height (in relation to max height of the dialog).
I thought of calculating a fake number based on the numbers of the other series in the chart, but then the fake number is in the tooltip, and i don't get to show the description...
I suppose an alternative could be if there was a way to customize the tooltips? then i could use a fake number and plot the number and sub out the tooltip.

Hi Ryan,
You could for 2 of the 3 series (vertical axis) you've setup. I was an issue similar to yours and this helped._img_ alt="User-added image" src="https://latitudegeo--c.na53.content.force.com/servlet/rtaImage?eid=90760000000XcsD&feoid=Body&refid=0EM60000000XwML" _/_img_
