windows group sign-in configuration

Hi ;

 

Recently, i was installed Geocortex Essentials 4.5.1 in VM server with windows 2012. in the "Configure Sign-in option" setion, i selected an AD group Domaine\group that contain users who can administer the platform. Unfortunately, no user have access to the Rest Manager. I changed the group "BUILTIN\Administrators" and all groups and user under, can get access.

 

Can someone help me please to resolve that. I need to ad my Domain group to access in the rest manger not "BUILTIN\Administrators".

  Hi Simon, 

   

  You can always change the "BUILTIN\Administrators" parameter to anything you like as long as the server has access to the domain group you want. If you delete the default parameter and start typing, a list of groups will appear and you can choose the group you want to use for authentication. If your domain group name does not appear in the list, it means the server does not have access to it. So you will need to configure that first in IIS Manager before making the changes in the Post Installer.
