How to add .csv, .kml, .shp, .gpx or .zip containing a FileGDB or shapefile in HTML5 viewer?
The Geocortex Essentials LA County demo site has a nifty Add Data to the Map button that allows you to add a .csv, .kml, .shp, .gpx or .zip containing a FileGDB or shapefile to an HTML5 viewer - I can't find any information about how to do this even at 2.6.1 in the Release Notes, Administrator Guide or here. How is this possible please?

I just added the upload data tool. Are you not seeing it in the tool list at 2.6.1? 0 -
Thanks - I guessed wrong on the name. I searched on "add data" not knowing it was called "upload data".
Constructive criticism - please use more words to describe things that way they come up when searching. Unfortunately the GE support site is very difficult to search and filter on, making it very easy to miss things. I thought it was called "add data" since that's what is displayed on the title bar of the tool when it's running. I even searched "shapefile" on the forums, release notes and admin guide and found nothing. Thanks.0 -

Is there a way to have the colors that come up under Simple Symbology to stay the same? Each time a file gets loaded, the color palette changes. I've users who want to add a file once a month, and they want the colors to be the same each time, so it looks the same. 0
