I need to display data in relates created in arcgis server in report writer

hi,

 

i have created several relates to my feature class and published in in arcgis server.  how do i show related data in report designer and report writer, without a workflow?

  Jeff,

   

  You will need to replicate your relates as Data Connections. Just set the Data Connection to not be visible. It will be available for reports but not show in the feature description tabs. It's a workaround.

  do you mean export them to excel or another table type or connect directly to the database.  i don't see a connection type for a table published through arcgis server?

  Connect directly to the database, unless you are dealing with the NOC security tiers. Then you can't. You would have to use a Workflow.

   

  If you can directly connect to the database using a Data Connection, you then create a join on the data layer. Set it as not Visible. The join-tables will be available in the report anyways.
