Geoprocessing Tool in a workflow- TOKEN?
Hi
I am using essentials and 4.6 and HTML viewer 2.6.
I have a geoprocessing service that I have published on my own ArcServer. I get an error running the tool and have tried many different things, and I think the reason is because the GPserver is in a secured folder. I have published this GP service in a public folder (no token needed) and it works correctly, but I cant have it wide open. I have applied the Generate Token (and added alert which shows me that it DOES give me a token), and applied that as the token variable (lots of other processes in my workflow need the same token to access data and work correctly) , but it still wont run the GP tool. I get this error when running the tool in the viewer:
"There was a workflow error running activity: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. Workflow 'EOCWorkOrder' failed Unhandled exception: 'Error performing submit job operation' in activity '1.53: Geoprocessor'. Error performing submit job operation"
I tested and retested the rest and it works fine.
Is there a possibility that the workflow cannot run a secured GP tool????
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Nadine,
I have a hosted geoprocessing service, which is secure, and I'm able to get it to work just fine via a workflow. Are you able to share the workflow to see how it is configured? Another great resource I use is Fiddler to view the web traffic and see what might be causing the error besides the error geocortex throws.
