Change Rest URL in Manager

Can anyone tell me where to go to change the REST URL listed on the "Site Information" page in Essentials Manager. The current URL points to an internal network path and I need to change it to the external path along with using https instead of http but cannot find where to change this. My viewer URL is set to use https and web browsers will not fully load the site due to mixed content being blocked. This can be temporarily disabled in the browser which successfully allows the site to load thereafter however I need to track down all urls that are not using https and the rest url is one of them.

  Hi Roger,

   

  To change the REST URL, here's what you need to do:

   

  1) Open IIS Manager

   

  2) Expand Sites > Default Web Site > Geocortex > Essentials > Default (or the name of your instance)

   

  3) Click on RestManager

   

  4) Double click on Application Settings 

   

  5) Double click on EssentialsUrl

   

  6) Save a copy of the current URL, so you can roll back if you need to

   

  7) Edit the URL to match your new value, and click OK

   

  8) In IIS Manager on the left hand side, click on App Pools

   

  9) Right click on the EssentialsAdministrationAppPool4, and select Recycle

   

  10) Check the site info section in Manager, and you should now be seeing your new value.

   

  Note that you also need to add the external URL to the hosts section in the Post Installer if you haven't already.

  I performed the steps but Its redirecting me to the old url.

   

  Any idea why ?
