active directory is not auto-completing on Permissions page

Hello Everyone,

 

I'm not sure why setting up permission on GCX is so difficult. In our organization with over 30,000 entries on the AD server, it used to take few minutes to display active directory on Permissions page. For individuals users, sometimes it would not find at all after waiting for several minutes but sometimes it would find in few minutes. But recently I'm having problem auto-completing AD group Name or individual Name on Permissions page.

 

I have also set the Identify for EssentialsAdministrationAppPool4 to NetworkService and ran post intaller as suggested in the other post but that didn't help either.

 

What should I check or do next?

  Hi,

   

  Geocortex/Essentials/RestManager/Security/AutoCompleteClaims? is not returning anything. Why would this happen?

   

  I get the userinfo on the link

   

  /Geocortex/Essentials/REST/security/userInfo without any problem but the autocompleteclaims doesn't work.

  This was happening because when I press enter or the refresh button, it tries to find exact match and that's the reason it doesn't find anything.
