ArcGIS Online Tile and Imagery services not printing

We have secured ArcGIS Online Basemaps and Imagery which have referrer’s added onto the service to limit their usage to particular applications. These referrers a wildcard such as *.xxxx.domain.com. We have also tried adding in IPs and computer names of the app, gis and web server to no avail.

 

To sample in these services we have amended the <defaultProxy>  in the web.config of the manager and REST Elements.

 

The application works with the ability to view and query these services. However, when we come to print with the AGOL service with referrer’s added the basemaps and imagery from AGOL do not display. When completing server side printing requests what referrer does Geocortex Essentials use to print? If this is a bug has anyone else had this issue?

    It looks like you have already been in contact with the support team at Latitude, so I am just posting here in case any other users from the Support Center have this issue.  The issue has been confirmed and filed as a bug, GE-8563: Can't consume ArcGIS Online services that are rate-limited by referer.

    We do not have a way for people to view our development issue tracking system.  However, I can tell you that this issue is still unresolved.  I will add you as a stakeholder affected by this issue, in order to bump up it's priority.

    Any update on this? This issue has become a major issue for us and our longer-term imagery publishing plans.

    We had to update to Geocortex Essentials 4.9.2 and HTML5 viewer 2.10.0.  That fixed our issue of not being able to print AGO Tile services.

    Tony's response was spot on. We were at 4.9.0. I upgraded to 4.9.2 and I can now print ArcGIS Online hosted tile services. Thanks, Tony!

    Hi Everyone,

    The general issue of AGOL tile layers unable to be printed was fixed in GE 4.9.2, while Andrew's original issue containing referers is still outstanding.

    Hello all,

     

    Has there been any update on this issue - specifically regarding the AGOL limiters / referrers? We are experiencing this issue in Essentials 4.14.2.0
