Windows Integrated Security for Internal Staff - Anonymous Access for External Users
We have a site for our internal staff that utilizes our active directory logins to authenticate. I would like to also create an external site. What is the best way to set up the security to allow for this? My thought was to enable both Windows Integrated and Anonymous Access (right now we only have Windows Integrated enabled) and then remove permissions for "Anonymous Access - Guest" at the site level of the internal site. Is this the best way to do this?

That works, but depending on the differences between your external and internal site configs, you might be able to be more efficient by using one site and removing permissions on the pieces of the site that shouldn't be external. 0 -
