Instant Search Issues
Instant search is not working. I get the following error in essentials manager
The Instant Search feature did not respond in a timely fashion. Please ensure that the Geocortex Core service and all Instant Search processes are running.
I have check and restarted Core services.

Which version of Essentials were you running when this is/was happening? I've seen this issue occur when the Instant Search roles fail to start or there are errors in the instant search log files.
For anyone else having this issue, it is best to open a Support Ticket and send us your Core log files. You can manually zip the directory below or you can run the GCXInfo tool. Be aware the GCXInfo tool will stop/start the Core service which will take your sites down for a few minutes.
Default Core logs directory:
C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\Data\Logs
GCXInfo
C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\Diagnostics\GcxInfo
