Can we set the number format for uploaded layer?
GVH 2.7 - The numbers in the uploaded shapefile is displayed like e.g. 1.05421299260e+006. Is there a way to control how the numbers are displayed in the uploaded layer?

You can control the number format using the dropdown on the Fields tab of your layer in GE Manager.

How about the fields in layers that was uploaded by users? 0 -
There I would guess the answer is no. 0 -
How should I format the Custom Number Format? Say I want a whole number and no decimals. There's nothing in the Administrator and Developer Guide, as far as I can see. 0 -
Just realized I can use Fixed-Point and set decimal places to 0. Still, a brief example of how to use Custom Number Format would be welcome in the Admin and Dev guide. 0 -
Hi everyone,
At the moment there isn't a way to configure the number format for fields in uploaded data. In most cases we don't know what fields are going to exist in end-user uploaded data and what kinds of numbers they will contain, so setting defaults wouldn't be ideal. Perhaps this could be posted as an Idea requesting that the end-user is given contol to format fields when uploading their data.
In response to Turid, the information that you're looking for is actually in the Essentials Administor Guide, section 41.1. It refers you to follow an external link to (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/0c899ak8(v=vs.110).aspx) this page on MSDN and use the format specifiers described there. Just remember to remove the quotes if you copy any specifiers or examples from the table on that page.
Hope that helps!
