    Hi Chris,

The color picker currently used by dynamic symbolization is the native color picker provided by the user's web browser. Unfortunately IE does not provide this feature, and we have to use a fallback in this browser.

In GVH 2.8 we will be replacing this solution with a new color picker that will provide consistent support across all supported browsers.

    Thanks Jonathan

In the short term, is there a way to add to or change these colours in IE?

    Cheers

    Hi Johnathan

Just following up on this again.  The colour picks that IE display seem to be completely random and inconsistent.  Is there anyway in the Desktop.js file or even the .css file where I can force a set of colours to be used?

We are only just now looking at deploying the 2.7.1 version to our Production environment, so even if 2.8 (with the enhanced colur picker) is available before the end of the year we wont be in a position to immediately deploy it.  So if there is an interim solution to define a set of colours for the IE browser to pick up on, so that we can at least release the eagerly awaited dynamic labeling and symbolisation option, i would appreciate any solutoinyou might have.

    Cheers
